OUTSIDE PLAY TIME

The children love outside free play time. The weather is becoming quite beautiful, especially in the morning, so we are able to go out and not be so uncomfortable. Here are some pictures from our outside play time from yesterday.

PLANTING MORE SEEDS....

We recently planted more tomato seeds which have germinated. Once they grow more and get a tad bit stronger, we will be planting them outside in containers.

Today, we plan on planting strawberry seeds, as we all love strawberries. Hopefully they will be ready for harvest around the first of the year as long as we get to them before the beautiful birds do.

Pictures on both will be posted within the next couple of days so be on the lookout for them.

OUR VEGETABLE GARDEN PROGRESS...

I am, as are the children, very excited about our vegetable garden. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where we always had a vegetable garden (a pretty big one at that). So, I decided I would venture in that direction and attempt to grow some vegetables for my family, my daycare children and their families....if we have any leftover...haha. Here is the first picture of our small bounty from our garden. Hopefully, we will have many more pictures to share with you in the near future.
